Chad
Hodges ( AKA... K. D. ) has been involved with rhythm for a
long time. He was the house drummer for the Heritage
Square Opera House. He spent a year as the touring
drummer for the Glenn Miller Band. He has played with Clark
Terry, Al Grey, Rufus Reid, at the National Jazz Festival,
at Wichita Sate University, and received the Number One
rating award for jazz drummer. The following year Chad
received the Number One rating at the
International Jazz Festival, Nassau
in the Bahamas. He received a
scholarship to the Berklee College of Music and graduated
from there. He has also played with the Chicago based rock
band Tora Tora, Davie Allen Coe, Coco Brown, Tashiko
Akioshi,
Jimmy Night Train Forest,
Phil Miller of the Bun e Carlos Band,
Eddie Gomez, and Scott McBurney.

Chad
has spent countless hours doing session work for many Denver
based groups, artists, and radio spots
(jingles). Chad can also be heard on the Dick Van Dyke
show “Diagnosis Murder” (Telethon episode Staring
Dom Deluise and Pam Greer
(Jackie Brown, Fort apache the Bronx).
He owned and operated the Omega Recording Studio's and started
teaching private drum lessons in 1994.
Now a member of The Buckner Funken Jazz Band, Chad will
bring a new depth to the group through his solid education and vast background.
